フィンランドの学校，2016年新学期から手書きはオプションへ

私のような旧世代に属する者には，とても理解できないことですが，つまり，学校での文字書きはすべてキーボードで行うことになるということです．手書きは，あくまでもオプションとしてのみ残るようです．なお，教師たちの大半も賛成のようで，ただ，言語教師がつくる団体の副代表Susanna Huhtaさんは必ずしも諸手を上げて賛成というわけでもないようです．その理由として，Huhtaさんは，文字を手で書くことは子供の脳の活性化や運動能力（あるいは活動性）の発達を促すことを挙げています．

もっとも，アメリカでは，すでに今年の新学期から50州のうち45州の学校で似たようなシステムが採用されているので，フィンランドだけというわけではないようですが．．．なお，フランスでは，現時点では，このようなシステムの採用は検討されていないようです．

蛇足ですが，個人的には，国内，国外に拘らず，大切な人への大切な連絡は，必ず万年筆を使った手書きの手紙で行っています．そして，切手も内容に合わせた記念切手（例えば，お悔やみの手紙の場合は，白い花が描かれているものといったように）を貼るようにしています．
